Apartment blocks are a very private way of renting at SeaCliff. For a great low rental you can rent a high detailed quality skybox. We provide the usual SeaCliff tenant service but you should be aware of the following restrictions or attributes of apartments required to provide the great price.
Apartments in the same block occupy the same land parcel and therefore have some restrictions that our other houses do not have. If sharing a parcel is an issue for you we have many apartments on its own parcel for a slightly higher rent, often of the same desing as the shared parcel apartments. Ask us.
- Apartments share media control over the parcel. Get to know your neighbors and avoid media contests. Most apartments have a radio and if you need one let us know and we can install one. Of course you can install your own TV or radio.
- Apartments are outside chat and whisper range but inside shout range. Voice is enabled. Avoid voice in chat and please voice in IM or conference.
- Security is usually 20m range and is a secure sphere around the apartment.
- Privacy is set on the apartment block land parcel so people from outside the parcel cannot see you but people in the same apartment block may.
- Furniture - apartments are available in furnished or unfurnished versions. Unlike many of our furnished house we will not unfurnish a furnished house. Most apartment blocks have both furnished and unfurnished versions of the same apartment style.
- Furniture may be adult. If this is a problem for you we recommend renting an unfurnished house and furnish yourself.
- Prims - the published prims are for your use. Furnished apartments have a lower number of available prims as the furnishings come with the apartment. As always more prims are available on request.
- Rent boxes have the same functions as rent boxes on our houses. For example you can count your prims (i.e. land impact) and add additional tenants. Adding a tenant triggers a renter group invite which in turn allows them to rezz objects. See Rent Box Functions
